By registering for CSE Symposium 2025, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your registration.

1. Event Overview

CSE Symposium 2025 is a technical fest organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. Events include Paper Presentation, Coding Challenge, and Project Expo, scheduled for March 15–16, 2025 at the Main Campus, Chennai.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to students currently enrolled in UG/PG programs at any recognized institution.
  • Participants must carry valid student ID cards for verification at the venue.
  • Each participant may register for only one event per registration.

3. Registration

  • Registration is considered complete only after successful payment.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring correct event selection and personal details.
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to reject registrations that violate eligibility criteria.
  • Registration slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Payment

  • Registration fees: Paper Presentation – ₹200/person; Coding Challenge – ₹150/person; Project Expo – ₹300/team.
  • All payments are processed securely through Cashfree Payments.
  • Fees are non-refundable. Refer to our Refund Policy.
  • The organizers are not responsible for payment failures due to bank/network issues.

5. Event Rules

  • Participants must adhere to the specific rules of their chosen event, to be shared via email after registration.
  • Plagiarism, impersonation, or any form of cheating will result in immediate disqualification without refund.
  • Participants must report to the venue at the designated time. Late arrivals may be disqualified.
  • Decisions of the judges and organizing committee are final and binding.

6. Conduct

All participants are expected to maintain professional conduct. Any form of harassment, abuse, or misconduct will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the premises.

7. Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of their submitted work. However, by participating, you grant the organizing committee the right to feature your work (paper, project, etc.) on the college website, social media, and publications for non-commercial promotional purposes.

8. Photography & Media

The event will be photographed and recorded. By registering, you consent to the use of your image or likeness in event-related promotional materials.

9. Liability

The organizing committee and the college shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred by participants while attending the event. Participants attend at their own risk.

10. Event Changes

The organizers reserve the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email in such cases.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
